the hosting company that doesn't exist
22 August 2026
run1.html is a complete fictional hosting company website — one file, no build step, no framework — that opencode and a local qwen produced in a single run. it's here. open it. the company is not real, but the pricing table, the status page, and the "trusted by" logos are all convincingly real, which is somehow the funniest part.
the 2d game
the bigger flex from the same stretch of runs: a one-shot 2d game with over 50,000 words of lore and dialogs. one-shot, meaning the model wrote it in a single pass with no human drafting — the engine, the maps, and the text.
the catch: creative writing turned out to be harder than expected. the engine code was fine. the lore and the replicas were trash. a model that can write a correct save system will also write you an elven king who speaks like a tech support chatbot. fifty thousand words of confidently wrong flavor text.
the apps
and in between, a few apps built few-shot — show the model two or three examples of what you want and let it extrapolate. most of them work; the ones that don't fail in exactly the ways you'd expect.
why i keep doing this
because every run is a free experiment in what a local 27b can actually ship. a hosting company, a game, a handful of apps — none of them polished, all of them real, all of them produced on hardware i own.
